Socesfin has been active in the secondary sector since the mid-nineties.
Socesfin has been active in the secondary sector since the mid-nineties, following the acquisition of 45% of the share package of Solmar S.p.A., a Holding Company whose core business is inorganic chemistry but which over time has expressed its vocation of industrial growth through acquisition and establishment of new companies, which have led to a diversification of activities and a consequent strengthening of assets. Today, the Solmar Group, in addition to the chemical sector, deals with the production of energy from heat recovery, logistics, environmental remediation, waste treatment, and regeneration, construction and tourism, and operates both nationally and internationally.
For over ten years, Socesfin has also been involved in the production of energy from renewable sources, specifically biomass, bio-liquids, and photovoltaic systems. The choice to develop a sector dedicated to the production of clean energy is part of a broader long-term vision, which aims at making the business increasingly sustainable, stable, and competitive thanks to the procurement of self-produced energy resources, but which embraces a broader vision, based on the desire to cooperate and contribute to safeguarding and respecting the environment by favouring and encouraging the introduction of clean energy into the grid.
